Landeskrankenhaus Klagenfurt  For one of the biggest newly constructed hospitals in Central Europe, we developed a guidance and information system which supports an easy and quick orientation. Clearly distinguishable colours used on floors and other facilities make transparent the different areas of the clinic. The colour system is applied in several ways and can be found everywhere, from underground garage to patient's room. The guidance system for patients and visitors through inside and outside areas was systematically supplemented by an orientation system based on nodal points. The project was implemented in coordination with the general planers (Feichtinger, Priebernig, Klinger) between 2005 and 2010.
